Nick joined Coplan + Crane in August 2020 as a law clerk and graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2021. Once Nick had passed the Bar Exam in November 2021, he was promoted from Law Clerk to Associate Attorney.
Nick was first drawn to the field of law after taking a criminal procedures class in high school. He studied political science and ethics & public policy at the University of Iowa. After graduation, he worked as a legal assistant for two years before starting law school.
His duties to this point have ranged from doing research to helping crafting motions in limine, and he has earned praise for his writing skills.
“I am looking forward to helping our current and future clients as they deal with some of the most difficult times in their lives,” he says.
Originally from Frankfort, Nick now lives in Wheaton. He loves baseball and going to concerts, and also spends time working on his “fixer-upper of a house.”
