Five Coplan + Crane Attorneys Recognized By ‘Leading Lawyers’
Five Oak Park attorneys from the law firm Coplan + Crane have received recognition from Leading Lawyers, a division of Law Bulletin Media.
Attorneys Gregory F. Coplan, Benjamin A. Crane and Ted Jennings, all partners in the firm, were selected as “Leading Lawyers,” while fellow attorneys Stephen M. Blecha and Blake M. Vance were selected as “Emerging Lawyers.”
Less than 5% of all lawyers licensed in each state are recognized as Leading Lawyers, while less than 2% are selected as Emerging Lawyers.
“This is quite an honor for us,” said Crane, who said he was not surprised by the selection of his colleagues. “I think it speaks to the quality of representation that our firm offers to clients.”
Leading Lawyers are selected through a lengthy process that includes a statewide survey of their peers and approval by an Advisory Board. An eligible candidate for an Emerging Lawyer, selected through a statewide survey, is any lawyer 40 or younger, or who has practiced for no more than 10 years, and “who has proven to be of exceptional character and has conveyed outstanding aptitude for the practice of law in the early stage of their career.”
Founded in 1854, Law Bulletin Media also publishes the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
